The footbridge at Grays station is currently closed due to Health & Safety reasons. It will remain closed until at least April.

Network Rail have promised to do their up most to ensure the level crossing barriers are raised at every opportunity, although during the rush hour the gates may be closed for some considerable time.

Due to Insurance & fare evasion concerns, c2c are unable to open the station to allow the general public to use the platform subway.
