The following lists a few improvements that have recently been implemented, or are due to start shortly, along the route.

All c2c stations will have customer help points by end of March 2005.

Upgrade to Barking Station, including disabled person window at the booking office and new customer toilets.

All Tilbury loop stations have had CCTV cameras upgraded to digital BTP standard.

Rainham, Upminster, Laindon & Leigh car parks have been upgraded to 'safer car park status'

More work is being done to improve the effectiveness of the air conditioning on the routes trains.

Limehouse station is to have its platforms redecked.

Improvements to Grays stations, including subway.

Pitsea station, work is due to start soon on a new station building/ticket office.

Network rail will be renewing track in the Tilbury Town, East Tilbury & Gas Factory Junction (between Bow & Limehouse) areas.
