From the Yello Advertiser Thursday, 19 February 2009 PLANS to launch the Oyster Card at four C2C stations in Thurrock are still facing delays.
The Oyster Pay As You Go scheme was due to be expanded to Chafford Hundred, Grays, Ockendon and Purfleet last summer. But while card readers have been installed since late 2007, they have still not been switched on.
The Thurrock Rail Users Group (TRUG) described the ongoing delays as very disappointing. |
